Liminal ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the Liminal mobile application.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials through Firebase Authentication (Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In).
Profile Data: Birth date, birth time, and birth place that you voluntarily provide for astrological calculations. Partner profile information if you choose to add it.
Usage Data: Reading history, journal entries, and app preferences stored locally on your device and synced to Firebase for backup.
Subscription Data: Purchase and subscription status managed through RevenueCat. We do not store your payment card details.
We use your information to:
Liminal uses AI (via Anthropic's Claude API) to generate tarot interpretations, cosmic guidance, and lifestyle recommendations. Your question text and drawn card data are sent to this service for interpretation. We do not use your data to train AI models.
Your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) with industry-standard encryption. Reading and journal data is also stored locally on your device. We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information.
